Share. Connect. Amplify.

Runchella is RIA’s annual member summit and a not-to-be-missed spring event. Denver was the host city in 2021, Chicago in 2022. The show will return to Chicago in 2023.

The event continues to evolve but the three key goals have always been to:

  • Share—Peer sharing discussions offering industry insights and best practices.

  • Connect—Preview product from top brands, plus meet with brand executives and account managers.

  • Amplify—Workshops designed to solve your current business challenges and drive your business forward.

More Reasons to Attend Runchella 2023 - A 2022 Snapshot

Professional Development

Depending on your role, you will find sessions to help you do your job better. Period. We have hands-on workshops for buyers that utilizes data to help make more informed decisions. We offer half-day intensives for marketing personnel to create actionable plans for your store based on industry best practices. We also dig into diversity and equity practices with the Running Industry Diversity Coalition so our industry can positively evolve.

Brand Sessions & Presentations

Getting retailers and brands in the same room has always been a highlight of Runchella. It closes the gap on what the left and right hand are doing - making each more effective at what they do. This takes the shape of actual product presentations and top to top meetings with owners/GMs and brand executives.

Peer Sharing - Mastermind Groups

This theme runs deep at Runchella - whether you attend the general mastermind session or you join the RIA Mastermind Group year-long program. These data-driven, professionally facilitated small groups leverage peer wisdom as well as data - RIA’s Weekly Snapshots powered by Upper Quadrant Cadence – to help run specialty store owners solve key challenges and take advantage of opportunities. The first group launched at Runchella 2022 and the second one will launch later this year.

The Fun Stuff

The first day kicks off with a panel discussion and cocktail party. And any run specialty event would not be complete without a run or two! The event offers daily, sponsored group runs with product try-ons. The last night features an industry party (think ping-pong and gambling)!
