Assistant Footwear and Accessories Product Line Manager - Red Coyote

Select, purchase, and liquidate product that maximizes sales, sell throughs, and profitability while maintaining fresh product. Maintain a strategic buying plan for each season based on previous years sales and the next season’s product evolution and sales plan.

Expectations:

1. Establishes Category Strategy and Assortment Plan
2. Meet with vendor sales reps and view new product lines
3. Places At Once Orders, including weekly special orders
4. Revise Footwear orders weekly to maintain budget and sales plan
5. Leads In-season management
6. Proficient in data analysis and point of sale system
7. Timely entry of Purchase Orders into Point of Sale
8. Accurately maintains POS SKU database
9. Strong customer service and sales skills to help lead and assist the team on the selling floor

Responsibilities: 

1. Motivates and inspire team members to always create the Red Coyote experience
2. Works the sales floor as needed to ensure every customer always receives the Red Coyote experience.
3. Achieves customer experience while maintaining GMROI established targets
4. Addresses team with: Monthly product updates and updates to sales floor
5. Performs market assessment and establishes customer relevant assortment
6. Maximizes monthly product flow while adhering to budget guidelines
7. Utilizes weekly merchandising reports to highlight top products and inventory levels
8. Monitors weekly sell-thru and proactively responds to sales and margin trends
   1. Vendor stock swaps and RAs
   2. Identifies and responds to quick sellers
   3. Identifies slow movers and systematically works to sell them
   4. Balances inventory levels between locations bi-weekly in coordination with inventory manager
9. Coordinates with marketing team on product arrival events and in-store clinics
10. Coordinates with Ecommerce team on new product arrival, go live dates, and markdowns

Measures of Performance:

1. Achieves Inventory turn
2. Achieves Margin Targets
3. Achieves Sales plan
4. Achieves Best Running Store in America targets
