Accessing the Product Data Collaborative
Video instruction demonstrating how to log into the PDC.
Demonstration of authenticating with the PDC (~ 4 mins)
Authenticating with the RIA Product Data Collaborative is, as you might expect, as simple as using an established, valid username and password. The video above demonstrates how to do just that.
This tutorial covers the use of "single sign on" (SSO) functionality to access the PDC. Using SSO functionality allows you to authenticate with the RIA website and then automatically use those same credentials to access the PDC.
Some Requirements
Logging into the PDC is simple painless. Well, assuming everything is functioning how it should! But, like any system, there some requirements that you need to be aware of.
- First, you need to have login credentials (username and password) to the RIA website. Please note that each individual person should have their own credentials. We do not recommend sharing credentials as many things in our infrastructure rely on unique, individual logins, like event attendance, content management (on the RIA site), the think tank, etc.
- Second, you must be an active member. If you are not a current member, you may still be able to access some portions of the site, however you will be limited in your access. The PDC is not available for non-members.
- Finally, you may not be designated as a "user" of the PDC for your company. Not every individual needs access, so more than likely, if you don't, somebody in your company does. In this case, you may not need access, which is perfectly fine. If you do need access, you can request it on the PDC dashboard tab of your member portal or you can email us at
