After 12 years working in public relations, travel, and news companies, Tanya Ishikawa started BT Multimedia Communications in 2001. As a freelance professional, she works for news publications as well as businesses and nonprofits seeking media coverage and promotion. Tanya has extensive experience in writing and editing publications and online content about subjects as diverse as culture, business, government, water, and education. She develops and manages social media pages, blogs, and websites on several content management platforms. Outside of work, Tanya is active in her community, serving on her condo association board, volunteering at her son’s school, participating in local nonprofit events, and supporting organizations that provide resources for those in need. Her passions are dance, screenwriting, and travel.
