Mount to Coast’s win marked a particularly notable moment at the Summit, as the brand earned back-

to-back Emerging Brand Best in Show honors following its 2025 victory.

In addition to the category awards, retailer voting resulted in an unprecedented three-way tie for the event’s overall Best in Show distinction:

“The Best in Show awards are especially meaningful because they come directly from the retailers attending the Summit,” said Terry Schalow, Executive Director of the Running Industry Association. “These products generated real excitement on the show floor and represent the kinds of innovation, storytelling, and consumer appeal that specialty running retailers are looking for heading into future seasons.”

The RIA Summit brings together invited brands, retailers, and industry partners for several days of meetings, education, networking, product discovery, and collaboration focused specifically on the run specialty channel.
