The Run Specialty Channel has been through a difficult year. We’re still working through shutdowns and the resulting challenges to the health of our businesses. In many ways however, our membership has become stronger. You’ve shifted to platforms and tools that allow you to connect with your customers in ways that may not have been considered a year ago, and these actions are setting up a bright future that leaves the channel more competitive and nimble.
The RIA must be nimble as well. More than ever before, our members want access to the information and tools that help inform decision-making and create more efficient businesses. To meet that goal, we recently introduced the RIA Brand Showcase, a one-stop source for go-to-market brand content. Coming up are a series of informational webinars in partnership with our associate members, the first of which is announced in this issue.
Content from the RIA Pulse and webinars will be recorded and archived on the RIA Member Portal, which will allow you to explore all manner of useful information. The RIA Member Portal will archive our quarterly surveys and other assets, and we’ll be adding more value to the portal as we progress. On the docket for 2021 are the RIA Brand Bulletin Board, scheduled for a January launch, and following that will be an RIA Jobs Board.
Finally, the RIA Member Portal will serve a practical purpose. You will be able to log in and update staff info, pay dues, and view subscriptions and sign-ups. With the RIA Connect app you can even upload contact info for other members directly to your mobile phone.
