Update from RIA Executive Director Terry Schalow
Certainly, RIA membership means access to our growing list of benefits, including the about-to-launch Product Data Collaborative. But RIA membership isn't merely about signing up for discounts, newsletters, market reports, or trade shows. That conversation reminded me that going beyond the transactional aspects of membership fosters a deeper, more personal connection, which is something that the RIA should strive for with each and every one of our members.
So as we move forward, we want the commitment to our members to extend beyond the conventional boundaries of a trade organization. To that end, you are encouraged to reach out to us at any time, whether you have questions, require guidance, or simply want to seek our opinions. We also recognize that the growth of our association is intrinsically tied to the growth of our member businesses. So in the coming months we’ll also take a step further in our commitment to our members, with initiatives directed towards supporting newer retailers and emerging brands. This includes providing them with the necessary tools, mentorship opportunities, peer sharing platforms, and education. We believe that in propelling the next generation of running industry leaders to success, we ensure our own success.
