Union Station Hotel
We are thrilled to announce an exciting transition for our annual member event. Beginning this spring, we will be gathering at the RIA Summit. The new name reflects the ethos of the show - helping retailers, brands and associate members connect in ways that elevate their businesses.
The RIA Summit is designed for owners, buyers, key staff and brand personnel in the run specialty channel.
You will walk away from the 2024 RIA Summit with actionable, progressive ideas about how to move your business forward. The programming will be designed to look to the future, whether it is new technology (did someone say AI?) or novel ways to retain your rockstar employees.
Detailed information about professional development programming can be found here. Be sure to learn more about the great content being offered to all attendees.

We will enjoy a new gathering place, the elegant and iconic Union Station Hotel in downtown St. Louis, Missouri.
Based on the feedback from The Summit 2023, we needed a larger, more versatile venue to accommodate additional, quieter meeting spaces which were cost-prohibitive in Chicago. This new location will offer opportunities for more programming (including a track for smaller/newer stores), peer-sharing, one-on-one brand conversations, and increased schedule flexibility- all in the spirit of “Your Show, Your Way”.
Relax each night in a comfortable hotel room featuring courtyard or swimming pool views starting at $199 for retailers. The group rate is based on availability and only until 4/5.
The Union Station Hotel is known for its incredible food offered at multiple, on-site restaurants as well as room service. Breakfast and lunch will be provided daily with food options to accommodate all diets.
Registered for RIA Summit, please book your room. Use the button above to access the hotel booking link.
The venue is located 14 miles from Lambert-St. Louis International Airport.
From the Lambert Airport terminal 1, take the Red Line to Shiloh Scott. Get off at Union Station and walk a quarter of a mile to the Union Station Hotel. Travel time estimate - 45 minutes. Cost $3.
Lyft or Uber services the airport. Travel time estimate – 25 minutes. Cost $30+.
The Discount Freight Program is offered through the Running Industry Association and is not listed below. Please click here for more details.

One of the RIA’s core missions is to inform and raise awareness, and for this year’s National Run Safety Month, we feel it is important to recognize there are different experiences surrounding run safety that we have not yet explored.
While topics like visibility, situational awareness, and self-defense remain important to the concept of run safety, this year we're exploring an important new direction, in keeping with the RIA’s support of DEI initiatives.
Specifically, the RIA is expanding the 2023 NRSM conversation with an examination of what run safety means for the BIPOC community, with multiple points of view designed to help members better understand the challenges BIPOC runners face.
Our goal is to foster conversations on the path toward substantive action and productive solutions.
As we approach the lower light, colder months of the year - running is even more important, but doing it safely is paramount. Join us in supporting National Run Safety Month by sharing the important tips, articles and resources below that you have found useful. Help your customers think about what run safety means for them and all the members of their community.
